Launch of the new Village Association website

We are very pleased to announce the launch of our whizzy new website. Although we have our own Facebook Page, we felt that we could provide a more feature-rich experience via a website.

It will provide a number of features :-

• A “Latest News” section containing news of interest to the village provided by local organisations and even individual contributors like yourself

• A calendar ( and list ) of events organised by the Village Association as well as other organisations in the village. Dates, times and location and even a facility to put it in your electronic calendar automatically

• A full and comprehensive media section containing photos of the village from the past and present, village history and videos of past events such as picnics, bonfires and Pantos

• A list of local links to businesses and organisations in and around the village

• A section for Sales and Wants which local people can use to advertise any goods for sale or flag up any items or services they would like

• Information on a couple of local charities that could be of financial assistance to qualifying residents of the village

• A “Contact Us” section to get in touch with us about any of the sections above
